I was so shocked that it actually said that in almost no time at all. Then I ran to the bedroom and put the stick right in Nikki's face. lol. Poor thing was so out of it... Finally cleared the goop from her eyes and found out that we are going to have a family. We both hugged and cried and hugged and cried. Then threw some clothes on and went to the hospital for the final say so.
Can you believe it took 3 hours to tell me I was pregnant?! I even brought the little stick as proof in case they didn't believe me. lol. They looked at me like I was nuts. Probly am. They determined that I was 4 weeks and 4 days along.
They did a beta test that Sunday that showed 1049. Then Tuesday was 2315 and Thursday was 4577. So my numbers are doubling like they should be which is great. Thursday I also had an ultrasound that showed the amniotic sac and the egg but we can't rule out an ectopic just yet. I'll call on Feb. 2nd to schedule another ultrasound so we can determine the possibility of a full term pregnancy.
Since then I've definately had trouble keeping my belly full. Seems like nothing will stay in there. I've officially quit drinking pepsi and coffee due to the caffeine content. Although I would prefer to completely quit with sodas altogether, I'm not a fan of water so I don't have that many options. So I have to Sprite bottles in the fridge as a 'justincase' plan B.
I can't believe I'm actually going to be a mom!!!
